I love Indian food and I love cooking. My fav of the season is tradition #Ayurvedic dish called kitchari. There is no I dean market near me and it's hard to find one spice that usually is used in the #kitchari #recipe called #asafetida or hing ☘️ finally I found a recipe without this ingredient 👍🏽 If you like cooking try it out. Not only it is super tasty 😋 it is also very good for your body during fall and winter time 🙌🏼 The recipe is from @SivanandaYoga #Centre in #London Ingredients: 1/3 cup split yellow mung beans 1/3 cup basmati white rice 1 tablespoon of ghee or coconut oil ½ tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp black mustard seeds 2 Tbs minced fresh ginger 1 tsp ground turmeric 1 tsp ground coriander 1 cup chopped mixed vegetables (or more; any kind eg. broccoli, carrots, zucchini etc ) 5 - 6 cups water ½ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves Salt & Lemon 👇👇👇
